In less than 10 days, Erie Entertainment presents what will be the first show of Fall! City Lights from Columbus, OH will be headlining (In Vogue Records/Artery Foundation). These guys have one EP release titled ‘Rock Like a Party Star’, and a full-length album via In Vogue Records that will be released this fall! ALSO! Erie’s own The Romantic Era will be co-headlining. These guys have been alive and kicking it for a few years now, and they just keep getting better and better. They just self-released a self-titled album which they recorded at Mr. Small in Pittsburgh, PA with Larry Luther (Black Eyed Peas), an album that has put a whole new spin to catchy and fun! Also performing will be Tyrannic Fusion, Separating States, and Call&Complain! You can contact us at LakeErieLive@yahoo.com – we are looking for articles, show dates, fliers, videos, pictures, and anyone with any general knowledge of music in our area! You can currently add Fliers and Show Dates directly to the site, and you can also leave comments on any of our posts! Anything used will remain the property of the owner/creator/etc. and not the site! We can not be your one-stop spot for Erie’s music scene without you!
I am constantly in the process of updating the site, so please check back frequently for new shows, fliers, and additions! Thanks!
By LakeErieLive!, on December 14th, 2010 You can now post Fliers directly to the site! Once you log in to the site, go to the Fliers page and there is a form on the page for you to upload from! So, with this latest addition, you can still post your upcoming shows to Lake Erie Live through GIGPRESS, but you can now post the fliers for the shows, too! Also, the site was getting a little unruly with the MASS amount of pages I’ve been adding, so I’ve done a little re-organization. I eliminated over 100 pages by combining the attached “Video” page from each artist with the root artist pages. If I deleted over a hundred pages, that means I have videos up from over 100 different artists!
By LakeErieLive!, on November 23rd, 2010 The “Posted Shows” section of the page is up and running! Everyone that Signs Up with a Login name and profile will be made a “Contributor“. A ‘Contributor’ has the capabilities of:
* GigPress
* Post Fliers
* Delete Posts
* Edit Posts
* Read
GIGPRESS is enabled for Contributors, so you will be able to post upcoming shows on there. You can reach this function under the “DashBoard” of your sign-in area. Submitted Posts need approved before they appear. Fliers can be posted, once you’re signed in, on the Fliers page.
If anyone has any trouble signing up or working with the system, send me a line – LakeErieLive@yahoo.com or text me if you have my #. Its actually very simple. If you lose your password / login, I can reset it for you.
By LakeErieLive!, on November 20th, 2010 I added a new option to make it easier to look at Lake Erie Live! on the go! Now, when you pull up www.lakeerielive.org on your mobile smart phone (iPhone, Blackberry, Android, etc) it shows you the site in a mobile browser instead of a full browser! The option to look at it normally is still there though. Thanks guys!
Also, make sure to e-mail me your band information at LakeErieLive@yahoo.com! Also, anyone interested in having their YouTube videos of local bands posted on my website contact me via the same address. Make sure to set up a profile and login to Lake Erie Live! so you can post comments and get additional privileges!
